Pendleton Legendary Blankets

Pendleton blankets have held a special place in the history and traditions of Native Americans. They have been incorporated into ceremonies and have been cherished from generation to generation.

Pendleton Woolen Mills has created a unique series of blankets they call the Legendary Series. Each blanket was designed to commemorate a special tradition or lore.

Each workshop will explore the elements within the blanket design as it relates to the legend represented. This exploration will be further enhanced through the appropriate use of artifacts, art, music, and dance.

Give the museum a call if you'd like to learn more about this series of workshops.
