Southold Indian MuseumStanton Mott Memorial Library The library houses the chapter's collection of archaeology and anthropology books, magazines, journals, and a vertical file of related newspaper and magazine articles. Holdings primarily relate to the Indians of North America. Letters, field notes, site reports and other papers related to the archaeology of Long Island can be found in the library's documents collection. In addition, the library houses the books and journals of the chapter's parent organization, The New York State Archaeological Association. All books, journals, and documents must be used within the library. Photocopying facilities are available for a nominal, per page fee. The library is open Sundays, from 1:30 - 4:30 PM year round during museum hours and through appointment at other times.
